01What OFF does

OFF lets you block apps on your own iPhone. You choose which apps. You start and end sessions by tapping your phone to your OFF device. Blocking is carried out by Apple's Screen Time framework on your device.

02Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure. One account is for one person.

03Acceptable use

• Use OFF on devices you own or are authorised to manage.
• Don't use OFF to restrict another adult's phone without their knowledge and consent.
• Don't attempt to interfere with our systems or other users' accounts.

04What OFF is not

OFF is a tool for building better habits. It is not a medical device and it is not treatment for any condition. If you are struggling with compulsive phone or internet use, please speak to a qualified professional.

05It won't block everything

OFF works within what Apple allows. Emergency calls, messages, and system functions are never blocked. Some apps, browsers, or workarounds may fall outside what Screen Time can restrict. We do not promise that blocking is absolute or impossible to bypass — the point is friction, not a locked cage.

06The device

The OFF device contains a passive tag and no electronics or battery. Keep it away from strong heat. It contains a magnet: keep it away from pacemakers, credit cards, and other magnetically sensitive items, and away from small children who may swallow small objects.

07Orders and returns

Prices are shown in UAE dirhams and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. If a device arrives damaged or faulty, contact us and we will replace it. You may return an unused device in its original condition within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the device price.

08The app is free

The OFF app is free to download and use with your device. We may introduce optional paid features in future, and we will tell you clearly before anything you already have becomes paid.

09Availability

We aim to keep the service running, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable. Sign-in depends on email delivery, which is outside our full control. Blocking itself runs on your device and continues to work even if our servers are down.

10Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including anything you miss because an app was blocked. You choose which apps to block and can end a session at any time using your device or an emergency unlock. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11Ending your account

You can stop using OFF at any time and sign out from the app, which deletes local data from your device. Ask us to delete your account and we will. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version — continuing to use OFF after a change means you accept the update.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute.
